The game shuts down at the 30-minute mark rather than simply not starting again once you've reached the limit, and we can't tell whether you pick up where you left off when you buy the game. There's a lot of swimming back and forth while the half-hour of playing time ticks away, though. The graphics, music, and voice acting are all enjoyable. Oftentimes a click triggers a quick animation of a bug doing something cute, but sometimes it triggers an important piece of dialog or allows Freddi to pick up the object. The cursor changes when it's hovering over something you can interact with. Young children will find the mouse-based navigation easy to figure out, though some of the puzzles take a little thinking. Freddi Fish 3: The Case of the Stolen Conch Shell stars a female fish and her friend Luther. While this children's game is quite appealing, the trial's time limit may put off potential players.
